Each jurisdiction is responsible for grading the MEE for the examinees who tested in the jurisdiction. NCBE provides an analysis for use by the graders. The analysis identifies the issues raised by the question, cites appropriate authority, and indicates suggested weights for discussion of the issues.
Examinees in UBE jurisdictions are instructed to answer the MEE according to generally accepted fundamental legal principles. Examinees in non-UBE jurisdictions are instructed to answer according to generally accepted fundamental legal principles unless instructed otherwise by their jurisdiction.
